Adolf Galland leading JV-44 Squadron of Experts in the revolutionary ground-breaking Me262 jet fighter. The squadron had intercepted a Marauder group; Galland downed one and damaged a second but was hit and injured by a P-47 Thunderbolt in the engagement. This was to become Galland's last engagement as the war ended soon afterwards.

The print depicts Galland in his Me262 inbound to the JV-44 base in Munich, below is a downed B-24 which has managed to crash landed.

The print is signed by Galland a three other Expertin from JV-44, Walter Krupinski, Gottfried Fahrmann and Hans-Ekkehard Bob.
