Fw190's in Northern France late Summer of 1941 moving out from cover for quick takeoff. The introduction of the Fw190 was a shock to the RAF who nicknamed it the "Butcher Bird". The Fw190 outperformed the Spitfire until the introduction of the Spitfire Mk 1X a year later.
