One of only five Tribute Proof Editions with an incredible collection of Luftwaffe Aces signatures. "Horrido" the attack cry of the Luftwaffe a tribute to JG-52. Me109 fighters dive into attack high over the channel during the Battle of Britain, with the familiar yellow nose used during the Battle. JG-52 went on to the Eastern Front where it amassed over 10,000 aerial victories and produced the only two pilots to score more than 300 victories, Hartmann and Barkhorn.
The print is signed by ten of the Luftwaffe top fighter aces including Broch, Rall, Rudorffer, Schuck and Wolfrum. The large original pencil drawing of a Bf 109 by Robert Taylor includes in the matting is an incredible collection of Luftwaffe Aces signatures, Walter Nowotny, Werner Molders, Helmut Wick, Gerhard Barkhorn, Erich Hartmann, Adolf Galland, Johannes Steinhoff and Walter Krupinski.
For conservation purposes due to the rarity of some of the signatures Nowotny, Molders, Wick and Barkhorn have been laser copied from the originals. The original rare signature are included separately in plastic folder.
