During the final months of the War the Luftwaffe though weakened continued to fight valiantly. The print shows Bf109's taking on P-51 Mustangs of the 357th Fighter Group in a head on engagement. At tremendous closing speed both sides attempt to break up the opposing formations as the Eagles Divide.

The matted Tribute Edition is signed by sixteen USAAF and Luftwaffe pilots including Hugo Broch, Walter Wolfrum. Gunther Rall, Jim Brooks, Clyde East, Bud Anderson, Bill Overstreet. In the matting are a further eight signatures including, Johannes Steinhoff, Adolf Galland, Gerhard Schopfel, Bud Peterson and Bob Goebel.

The matted Eagles Proof Edition is signed by Bud Anderson, Gunther Rall, William Overstreet and Walter Wolfrum. In the matting are the signatures of Robin Olds, Adolf Galland, Don Blakeslee and Alfred Grislawski.
