"Operations On" was commissioned by Bomber Command Aircrew to celebrate Arthur T. Harris 90th birthday. The print is signed by Arthur T. Harris, Marshal of the Royal Air Force and Commander of Bomber Command.

The print shows the last few moments as Lancaster crews gather, to crew up and head out on their night operations assaulting the Ruhr Valley.
