Midway Turning of The Tide by Robert Taylor

Midway Turning of The Tide by Robert Taylor

Sold Out

200 miles northwest of Midway on 4th June 1942. Running out low on fuel and nearly out of time, Dauntless dive bombers spot a Japanese Destroyer bound for the Japanese Carrier Group. Following the direction, they find the Carriers with planes on deck refueling and rearming after a morning attack on Midway.

Diving into the attack with complete surprise the US Navy pilots devastate the Japanese carriers, sinking Akagi, Kaga, Soryu and Hiryu. With the US ability to build new carriers the Japanese would never be able to make up the losses and match the US carrier power.

The print is signed by Dick Best, Don Ely, Wilbur Roberts and Edward Anderson.
