The B-25 was modified with the installation than no fewer than eight forward firing .50 Caliber machine guns turning it into a devastating ground attack aircraft. In this mode the modified B-25's were used in ground attack strafing missions of airfield, troop concentrations and shipping lanes.

The print shows B-25's strafing and bombing a Japanese subchasers with a small oil tanker exploding in the background. The print has a great printed remarque of a PBY Catalina picking up down aircrew.
