Thunderheads Over Ridgewell depicts a B-17 of the 381st Bomber Group on approach into Ridgewell, while other B-17 bank behind it. In 1944 the 381st Bomber Group was at peak effectiveness and for several months was the top ranked Group in the Eighth. 

The print was published in collaboration with the American Air Museum in Duxford, an American War Museum Poster is included with the print. The print is signed by three B-17 pilots from the 381st Bomber Group, Turner Brashear, Edward Klien and Vincent Peters.

The Mighty Eighth Edition Remarque print comes with a companion print "Another Mission Completed" showing a B-17 crew heading for debriefing.
