P-47 Fighters of the Mighty 8th prepares for a mission to Germany from their Airfield in England. The P-47's are starting up and taxi out to join the P-51 Mustangs already overhead and heading for escort duties.

The print is signed by the cream of the USAAF fighter pilots, Hub Zemke, Bud Mahurin, Don Blakeslee, Gabby Gabreski, Bud Peterson and Bob Johnson.
