In the final weeks of the war a Lancaster struggles home with a starboard engine out. The Lancaster is escorted by Spitfires who make sure it makes it home. The Lancaster is returning from a raid on Hitlers "Wolfs Lair" at Obersalzberg. This was the last major raid by RAF Bomber Command with 300 Lancaster bombers. A short while later Hitler would be dead, the War soon ended.
