A lone Me109 in desert camouflage heads back to base, lost from its squadron and wingman, it is venerable. It was easy in the desert to get disorientated with few landmarks in the unending sand.

The matted Collectors Edition print is signed by, Eduard Neumann, Friedrich Korner, Franz Elles and Fritz Keller. All these pilots flew Me109's in JG 27 in the Desert War. Included in the matting is the signature of Erich Rudorffer who was highly successful in the Desert campaign before being promoted to command JG 54 in Russia. Also included in the matting are a replica Fighter Pilots Badge and an Africa Campaign Badge.
