In early 1945 Allied fighter pilots had won almost complete air superiority. Luftwaffe fighter losses had been high and with the constant bombing by day of the USAAF and by night by the RAF German fighter production had plummeted.
Air Superiority catches P-51 Mustangs of the 375th Fighter Group sweeping unaposed along the Rhine valley near Koln. The war is almost over and soon these pilots after a grueling four years and a deserved victory will be homeward bound.
