"Welcome Sight" B-24 Liberators of the 44th Bomb Group returning from a raid over Europe pass over Ely Cathedral. The 900-year-old Cathedral which dominated the flat Norfolk countryside was a welcome landmark to returning 8th Air Force crew.

A tribute to the 8th Air Force and the B-24, the print is signed by two pilots who flew the B-24, Medal of Honor winner Leon Johnson and the highly decorated Ramsey Potts. Included with the print is a companion print "Ely Cathedral" a pencil print showing inbound B-24's flying over Ely Cathedral.
