..Spitfires returning from combat fly over a downed Me109, one of many shot down that summer day. Above in the sky are contrails from the battle still raging. In the background farm workers race to capture the Luftwaffe pilot who will spend the rest of the war in Scotland or Canada.

The print is signed by four famous Battle of Britain Spitfire pilots, Alan Deere, Cocky Dundas, Brian Kingcome and Bob Doe. Bob Doe was the third highest scoring RAF Ace with fourteen victories during the Battle of Britain and the highest scoring to survive the war.
