Just eight weeks following D-Day the German Army is retreating. The Allies fight to cut off the retreat in the Falaise Gap. In a scene of utter destruction with thousands of burnt-out vehicles and tanks, the Typhoons fire their devastating rockets into the fuel and ammunition supplies of the retreating Germans. Tough RAF Typhoons Mk1b's of 247 squadron, operating behind the Normandy beachhead attack a German armor column trapped in the Falaise Gap. 

The print is signed by 20 veterans of the Battle of Normandy. The original drawing of a Panther tank is signed by six Knights Cross holders, Otto Carius, Gerhard Fischer, Walter Girg, Albert Kerscher, Norbert Kujacinski and Richard Rudolf.

The drawing was specially matted and includes in the matting the signature of Sepp Dietrich SS Panzer General and a replica tankers badge.
