After falling out with Goering, Adolf Galland was sacked as Commander of Luftwaffe fighters. Reinstated by Hitler in the waning months of the war, Galland returned to active duty commanding JV44 The Squadron of Experts, flying the revolutionary ME 262 jets.
The double matted print of ME 262's flying over snow covered mountains contains a drawing and the signature of Adolf Galland in the matting.
