.Hard Way Home shows a Halifax bomber of 405 Squadron RCAF struggling home after a night bombing mission. They are coming home the hard way with one engine already out and another starting to smoke. They would be easy prey for the Luftwaffe but have joined up with Hurricanes from 253 Squadron out on patrol.
