On the 18th April, 1942 a short time after Pearl Harbor 16 B-25's took off from the carrier Hornet in heavy seas. The B-25's had been stripped down to enable them to get off the deck. The target was Tokyo 800 miles away. The raiders managed to reach and bomb Tokyo then fly on to China to crash land. The shock of the raid on Japan caused the military to try and expand its perimeter further into the central and south Pacific with catastrophic consequences.

The print is signed by Jimmy Doolittle and 13 raiders aircrew. This is one of a handful of prints additionally signed by two more Tokyo Raiders, David Thatcher and Ed Horton making a total of 16 signatures

Very large remarques by Robert Taylor, expertly matted and framed by Aces High in the UK using only museum glass and acid free materials. Due to size the print ships to the U.S. only, for safety it will be shipped without the glass.
