A Lancaster having returned from a raid rest at a dispersal point.  The plane will be checked out in detail mechanically. It will be rearmed and fueled and finally before the next raid appropriate bombs will be loaded.

The Victoria Cross Matted Edition is signed by 50 Bomber Command Aircrew. In the matting is a replica Victoria Cross and the signatures of four Bomber Command VC's, Norman Jackson, Rod Learoyd, Bill Reid and Leonard Cheshire. As included is the book Heroic Endevour the story of Bomber Command.
