Bee Beamont RAF Battle of Britain pilot and renown test pilot leading 619 Squadron Typhoons into attack on German Kriegsmarine R-boats guarded by a flak boat. The R-boats were heavily armored minesweepers used extensively in the Channel and North Sea. The Typhoon was a superb RAF ground attack aircraft which made its reputation against German armor in Normandy.

This is an extremely rare 609 Squadron Edition (10/24) signed by seven 609 squadron pilots, Bee Beamont, L.W.F Stark, J.A. Atkinson, A.G.H Billam, A.G. La Force, J.A Mathy and G. Stevens.
