Thorpe Abbotts in East Anglia could be very cold and snowy during the Winter, East Anglia is flat and there is little to stop the cold winds of Winter or blowing snow. During a break in the cold and murky weather B-17's are readied for another operation over Germany.

The print is signed by 10 Aircrew who flew with the 100th Bomber Group "The Bloody Hundredth."  Including in the matting are the signatures of an additional 6 pilots from the 100th bomber group and a set of wings.
