Bombers Moon depicts RAF Lancaster Pathfinder flight crews readying for a mission to mark targets. In 1942 under the guidance of Don Bennet and Hamish Mahaddie two highly decorated RAF bomber pilots the RAF Pathfinder force was founded.

The small highly experienced Pathfinder force went ahead of the main bomber stream to market targets with flares and incendiary bombs.

The print is signed by Don Bennet and Hamish Mahaddie. The double remarque is signed by Don Bennet, Hamish Mahaddie, Larry Curtis, Eric Gray-Ward and MRAF Sir Michael Beetham.
