The Avro 540K was Quantas first aircraft depicted having just taken off from Longreach Queensland, the birthplace of Qantas. The print was commissioned by Qantas, and all were kept within Qantas.
Subsequently a very limited number 50 Artist Proofs were released to the public, this is one of those prints.
