Eagle Squadron Scramble plays tribute to the 240 American volunteer pilots who flew with the RAF during the Battle of Britain. 

The print depicts Spitfire fighters of the first "Eagle Squadron" 71 Squadron made up of American volunteer pilots, the first of three Eagle Squadrons. Many Eagle Squadron pilots became leaders and aces in the RAF and later the USAAF.

This is a very rare remarque, the only remarque I have seen on this print. The print is signed by Jim Gibson and additionally on this print by Don Blakeslee.
