"Victory Over Gold" shows Spitfires on the day after D-Day, flying cover close to the packed "Gold" landing beach. The Spitfires are attacking twelve Ju88's who have dropped out of the clouds to attack the crowded beach landing. During the fight the Spitfires destroyed six of the Ju88's averting a strike on the beach head. The print is signed by Pete Brothers, Bunny Currant and Tom Neil.

The D-Day Anniversary Portfolio was issued with a companion print "Patrolling the Beaches" with RCAF Spitfires completing their fourth and last patrol over Gold beach on D-Day. The print is signed by Arthur Bishop the son of Billy Bishop of WWI fame. Arthur Bishop joined the RCAF in 1941 later assigned to and with 401 Squadron RCAF.
