In a radiant sunset the group approaches the coast of Belgium. The print is signed by six highly decorated Mighty Eighth B-17 pilots Bob Landry, William Lawley, Edward Michael, Robert Morgan, Cliff Peterson and Albert Shower.

The Publishers Proof edition comes with a rare companion print one of fifty, Foul Weather Mission. The print depicts a B-26 Marauder encountering heavy weather while on a critical mission to attack V-1 rocket sites in the Pas de Calais.

Mighty Eighth Outbound, P-47 Thunderbolt Fighters prepare for a mission to Germany from their Airfield in England. The P-47's are starting up and taxi out to join the P-51 Mustangs already overhead and heading for escort duties. The print is signed by the cream of the USAAF fighter pilots, Hub Zemke, Bud Mahurin, Don Blakeslee, Gabby Gabreski, Bud Peterson and Bob Johnson.

The Publishers Proof edition comes with a rare companion print one of fifty, Tail End Charley. Tail End Charley was the position at the rear of a fighter flight, to provide rear security and be able to break quickly if the flight was attacked. It was the most venerable in a surprise attack. The print is signed by Willie Anderson, Frank Hurlbut, Walter Beckham and Herky Green.
