Helping Hand by Robert Taylor, a B-17 damaged and flying slowly has been unable to maintain its position in the formation. Alone and trying to make it back to base with injured crew members, it is a prime target for high altitude Luftwaffe fighters looking for stragglers. Above a P-51 Mustang weary from combat with Luftwaffe fighters has joined the B-17 to ride shotgun for the long journey back to England.
