In May 1940 high above the beaches of Dunkirk, Bob Stanford Tuck went into action shooting down three Luftwaffe planes. This was the start of a legendary career as a fighter pilot. In January 1942 Bob Stanford Tuck was shot down by anti-aircraft fire over France and became a POW.

In just over eighteen months Tuck scored an incredible 29 victories on the Western front against a still very powerful Luftwaffe. If Bob Stanford Tuck had not been shot down his victory tally would have been huge for the Western Front.

Very nice large Spitfire remarque, the print is signed by Bob Stanford Tuck
