Operation Chastise original pencil drawing on sepia by Robert Taylor of "M for Mother"

"M for Mother" piloted by John Hopgood suffered extensive Flak damage will attacking the Mohne dam during Operation Chastise. Hopgood managed to get the Lancaster which was on fire over the dam and give his crew critical seconds to bail out just before the Lancaster crashed killing Hopgood.
Three crew members managed to parachute out of the doomed plane, two survived including the rear gunner Tony Burcher. Included in the print matting is a piece of M for Mother recovered recently when the crash site was located and excavated and the signature of Tony Burcher.
The drawing was framed by Aces High, frame size 18" by 19"
