"Bomb Away" depicts Mick Martin as he drops the Bouncing Bomb on his bombing run at the Mohne Dam. Overhead is the Wing Commander Guy Gibson drawing anti-aircraft fire away from Mick Martin.

This is the very rare Studio Proof of which only 15 were issued. The print is signed by six air crew who participated in the raid, Ray Grayston, George Johnson, Ken Lucas, Grant McDonald, Les Monro and Fred Sutherland.

The Studio proof is superbly conservatively matted and includes in the matting a further six air crew from Operation Chastise, Edward Johnson, Mick Martin, George Chambers, Bill Townsend, Dave Shannon and Norman "Spud" Boorer
