Balloon Buster portrays Flight Lieutenant Henry Botterell in his Sopwith Camel shooting down a German observation Balloon near Arras France in 1918. In the tradition of gallantry between WW1 pilots Henry salutes the observer parachuting to the safety of land as the observation balloon bursts into flames.

The print is signed by Henry Botterell a Canadian pilot who flew with the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) in WW1. An opportunity to acquire a print hand signed by a WW1 pilot who at the time of signature was the last remaining WW1 pilot.

Remarqued edition, with a very nice remarque of a Sopwith Camel flown by Henry Botterell.
