Upottery Airfield in East Devon England, June 5th 1944, D-Day minus 1. The print illiterates the 101st Airborne Paratroopers of East Company stick 70 receive a blessing from their beloved Regimental Chaplin, Captain John Maloney. The paratroopers and aircrew who will carry them into action that night to commence the battle in Normandy that will lead to the defeat of Germany fourteen months later.

The print is signed by 14 veterans including many of the 101st Paratrooper Band of Brothers depicted in the series. The signers are:
